This LP marked Mud's move away from RAK, and away from the CHINNICHAP machine. Mud were very much a 2nd rung Glam Rock group (compared to Sweet/ Slade/ GG/ T.Rex etc) who had great singles, but whose LPs (Mud Rock and the imaginitevely-titled Mud Rock 2) marked then as a chart band, whose repertoire was filled mainly padded out with covers.

Even though this 1975 album by Mud, Use Your Imagination, is not as useful and imaginative than Slik's eponymous album or even a few Bay City Rollers albums, it is still quite good - a proof that even 'bad' music of the 1970s used to be OK."L'L'Lucy" was a hit, while it sounds only marginally different from "Tiger Feet", which had been an even bigger hit.
